mahāprabhu dekhi' 'satya' kṛṣṇa-daraśana
nijājñāne satya chāḍi' 'asatye satya-bhrama'

When the people saw Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, they actually saw Kṛṣṇa, but because they were following their own imperfect knowledge, they accepted the wrong thing as Kṛṣṇa.
