tasmād īśa bhajantyā me
śreyaś cintaya suvrata
hṛta-śriyo hṛta-sthānān
sapatnaiḥ pāhi naḥ prabho

Перевод

Therefore, most gentle lord, kindly favor your maidservant. We have now been deprived of our opulence and residence by our competitors, the demons. Kindly give us protection.
Aditi, the mother of the demigods, appealed to Kaśyapa Muni to give the demigods protection. When we speak of the demigods, this also includes their mother.

тасма̄д ӣш́а бхаджантйа̄ ме
ш́рейаш́ чинтайа суврата
хр̣та-ш́рийо хр̣та-стха̄на̄н
сапатнаих̣ па̄хи нах̣ прабхо

Перевод

О мой благочестивый господин и повелитель, будь же милостив к своей служанке. Наши соперники, демоны, отняли у нас наши богатства и жилье. Пожалуйста, защити нас.
Адити, мать полубогов, попросила Кашьяпу Муни защитить их. Когда речь идет о полубогах, к ним относится и их мать.
