yad okaḥ sarva-bhūtānāṁ
mahī magnā mahāmbhasi
asyā uddharaṇe yatno
deva devyā vidhīyatām

Перевод

O master of the demigods, please attempt to lift the earth, which is merged in the great water, because it is the dwelling place for all the living entities. It can be done by your endeavor and by the mercy of the Lord.
The great water mentioned in this connection is the Garbhodaka Ocean, which fills half of the universe.

ШБ 3.13.15

йад оках̣ сарва-бхӯта̄на̄м̇
махӣ магна̄ маха̄мбхаси
асйа̄ уддхаран̣е йатно
дева девйа̄ видхӣйата̄м

Перевод

О повелитель полубогов, прошу тебя, подними Землю, погрузившуюся в воды великого океана, ибо она является обителью всех живых существ. Для этого необходимо твое усилие и милость Господа.
Великий океан, о котором здесь идет речь, — это океан Гарбходака, занимающий половину вселенной.
