В этом стихе объясняется, о чем так тревожился Махараджа Парикшит. Он говорит: «Будь что будет. Это не страшно. Только дайте мне возможность убедиться, что ни одно мгновение моей жизни не будет потрачено напрасно, без связи с Кришной». Человек должен терпеливо относиться к различным препятствиям, возникающим на пути сознания Кришны, и следить за тем, чтобы ни одно мгновение его жизни не было потрачено впустую, вне связи со служением Кришне.
